GENERAL INFORMATION, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by McCoy Travel*, et al.
PRICE VALIDITY December 1, 2008 - December 31, 2010
First, we would like
to say thank you for your business! We realize you have a choice
who you do business with. Second, we want you to know that we will
work with you, as closely as possible, to make the vacation you
are planning with us, a success.
RESERVATION,
PAYMENT POLICIES AND INFORMATION
DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS: A minimum deposit of $200
per adult (ages 12 and over), in addition to supplier/resort/airline
requirement, is usually required within 7 days of confirmation in
order to hold your reservation. (Some more exclusive resorts or
specific vendors have additional deposit requirements and restrictions)
Final payment is to reach McCoy Travel*, et al, no later
than 60 days prior to departure. If for any reason your
deposit or balance payment is not received by McCoy Custom Travel
on or before due dates, we reserve the right to cancel the booking
and to access the appropriate cancellation charges. (although we
really never want to do this!)
Credit card deposits and final payment: On
final payment, the same credit card will be charged the final balance
60 days prior to departure unless we receive different instructions
from you, our valued client. We will send you an email 7 days prior
to your final payment date letting you know of the upcoming charge.
Airlines Reservations/Tickets: Once ticketed,
all airline reservations are non-refundable. The exception
to this would be unrestricted coach, full fare business and full
fare first class tickets. If a ticket is fully
refundable, it will be noted on your itinerary. Unless noted,
all airline tickets, once paid and ticketed, are non-refundable.
Most tickets are changeable with a service charge. Each
carrier has it's own fee and rules.
RATES AND FARES: All fares and prices stated are based
on rates valid at the time of publication and are
subject to change without notice. The operator reserves the right
to increase the prices shown herein or to amend the listed holiday
inclusions or itineraries prior to departure. All rates and fares
are in US Dollars (unless otherwise noted). Prices are guaranteed
against any increases only when packages are paid in full.
DOMESTIC PACKAGE PRICING: Within the USA, in most
cases, all prices are subject to change until paid in full OR a
Domestic Waiver is purchased. Each supplier we use has slightly
different policies that can be explained by your Vacation Consultant
at the time of your booking. Cancel/Change Waivers purchased generally
protect against price increases, change fees and may offer a full
vacation refund up to the day before travel, less the waiver cost
and $200 per person. This is different with each supplier. Please
verify at time of deposit. This is for Domestic package pricing.
INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE PRICING: All prices are subject
to change until paid in full.
LATE BOOKINGS: Bookings made within 60 days of departure
will only be accepted if accompanied by full payment via certified
cashier's check, wire or credit card. No checks less than 60 days
prior to departure. A late booking fee of $25 per person may be
applied to cover additional handling and ensure speedy processing
and postage.
CHANGE FEES: Unless specifically waived with insurance
or waiver purchase, the following change fees may apply. For each
change to a confirmed booking (including the changing of departure
dates) a charge of $50 may be applied for extra handling. If documents
have been sent out, a additional charge of $50 will be applied to
expedite processing the ensure prompt delivery of your new travel
documents. The charges provided for in this paragraph are in addition
to the charges or penalties which may be assessed by the validating
airline for reissue of tickets or travel reservations.
CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations received by McCoy Travel,
that qualify for refunds, the following cancellation policy will
apply in addition to any other fees charged by the relevant hotel,
other supplier.
**Cancellation must be submitted in writing. Cancellations
made 60 days or more prior to departure: In addition to the cost
of any insurance/waiver premiums, a maximum charge of $200 per adult
(ages 12 and over) will be withheld from refunds due. A CREDIT TRAVEL
VOUCHER *** by $200 non refundable deposit - will be issued for
the full amount of the cancellation fees. The CREDIT TRAVEL VOUCHER
can be used for any future Travel Package or Cruise (worldwide -
for equal or greater cost of original trip) up to 1 year beyond
the cancelled date of travel. CREDIT TRAVEL VOUCHER IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE.
** Cancellation made 60 days or less: 100% of tour cost is non-refundable.
This is subject to review and each resorts/vendors policies. We
will always work on your behalf to obtain refunds where they are
available.
** Exceptions: Some exclusive resorts may have more restricted
cancellation policies and charges
We highly recommend Travel Insurance for all parties traveling.
REFUNDS: No refund will be given after the trip has started. No refunds will be made for unused portions of the trip including, but not limited to, airfare, transfers and accommodations. If it is believed that a refund is appropriate under the provisions of these terms and conditions (including cancellation by provider of service), the applicant must request the refund in writing and support the application with appropriate documents, within one month of return home. International Refunds can take up to 3 months. Refunds usually take between 45 and 90 days from the date of written request.
REFUND ON CANCELLATIONS: Any refund that is due
on complete cancellations, will be processed by McCoy and request
made. McCoy is not responsible for delays on the part of the supplier
in getting refunds processed. McCoy will work on the client's behalf
for the refund to happen within a period of 30-60 days. If the client
has not received their refund by the 60th day, the client should
contact us so we can follow up. It is our intention and our goal
to work on our client's behalf in all matters.
Refund of Credit card payments: When a credit card is used for payment, the bank/credit card levys a non-refundable bank/merchant fee on McCoy Custom Travel. Under no circumstance, will the bank/credit card refund this amount back to us. The policy has been in effect since 2001 with the banks/credit cards. We have no control over this. Therefore, in the event of a refund, if the original payment was made by credit card, any amount to be refunded to client will have the 3.0% non-refundable merchant fee deducted as an additional cancellation charge. To avoid this fee, you may take a credit for the amount of your payments and apply this to a future vacation package /cruise (anywhere in the world). The 3% cancellation fee will not be charged since the funds will be applied to a future vacation.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly advise that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your holiday including the loss of deposit through cancellation, loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death, inclement weather clause, pre-existing medical condition waiver ( includes traveling parties and immediate family. McCoy Travel*, et al, will assist you with the purchase of travel insurance. Most insurance policies have the most complete coverage if purchased within 7 days of initial deposit/payment. By purchasing travel insurance, you will be fully covered EXCEPT for no more than $200 per adult (ages 13 and over). Insurance premiums are non-refundable.
Approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled departure, McCoy Travel*, et al, will mail out your travel documents provided full payment has been received.
PRICE INFORMATION: Prices include the cost of tour
components, research and planning, and documentation. Due to industry
regulations package prices are not subject to itemizing components.
All information on our web is accurate as of January 2008 or other
date noted, and is subject to change without notice if required.
All maps, photos and descriptions have been prepared on the basis of information received from various service providers at the time of printing. They are not necessarily the scale and some information could have been changed. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of an equivalent or better standard due to availability. RESPONSIBILITIES: McCoy Travel*, et al, act as agents for services provided by operators herein and cannot be held liable for any of those providing services listed in this brochure or any other services incidental thereto. Therefore, all bookings with McCoy Travel*, et al, are subject to terms and conditions and limitations imposed by airlines, hoteliers, and other service providers.
Baggage and personal effects are the passengers own risks and it is the responsibility of the passenger to obtain insurance against loss or damage.
McCoy Travel*, et al, and the operators involved in this program shall be exempt from all liability for losses or additional expenses in respect or any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness, or injury, irrespective of the cause, including strikes, war, quarantine and whether or not directly or indirectly caused by any service provided or by a service provider, or by any property used or utilized by a service provider.
McCoy Travel*, et al, reserves the right to correct any errors, prices or omissions of information in this electronic brochure, prior to final payment being received by McCoy Travel*, et al. Prices are only guaranteed upon Final Payment.
