Nick
is a 12 year old child of one of our staff and was born
and raised on Maui. He enjoys playing in the surf and
building castles and holes in the sand with his little
brother D.J....
Below are a few of his favorite beaches and places to
go in Hawaii. |
| |
Grand
Wailea Resort & Spa Maui - This is Nicks
favorite place to stay on Maui. The pools can't be beat! |
|
Marriott
Wailea Resort Maui is Nicks 2nd favorite place
to stay. They have a wonderful childrens pool with a
playground right in the middle of it! (along with a
couple waterslides!) |
|
Snorkeling
at Molokini - Nick loves going out on the Four
Winds. They have a great waterslide and have a glass
bottom for viewing marine life... |
|
Keawakapu
Beach - The perfect beach on the south side
of Maui. Not too rough, and not too flat. There are
three places you can park... behind the Mana Kai, or
down the sidewalk a ways there is a parking area across
the street, or down to the culdesac at the end of South
Kihei Rd. This is a great beach for all ages. If the
tide is right - you can see all kinds of neat things
in the tide pools about half way down the beach. |
|
Atlantis
Submarines - This was a real treat. We couldn't
take little brother because of age restrictions, but
Nick had a blast and thought it was great! |
|
Hana
- Swimming under the waterfalls and playing in the water
has always been one of the favorites. |
|
Maui
Ocean Center is a frequent stop for us, there
is always something new there and the staff are fun
and friendly. |
|
| Blue
Water Rafting - Nick loved the (very) bouncy
ride and venturing into caves... then swimming with dolphins
at La Perouse Bay. |
| |
Baby
Beach Lahaina - This is really the west end
of Baldwin Beach and a great favorite with families
since the reef forms a giant, shallow, salt water pond
where kids can paddle and play. Can be windy.
|
|
Oahu
- Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park - This was
a hit with the kids... and boy did they sleep well that
night! |
|
| There
are many more places that I enjoy, like the Hilton Waikoloa
Village on Big Island, and Hyatt Regency on Maui... They
have lots of fun things for kids... There are so many
things to do here. I would have to say that my favorite
thing I love to do most is go to Luaus. You can just eat
and eat and the food is great! - Nick |
