Arriving in the Hawaiian islands about seven years ago, I fell in love with the places, people, music and culture combining into what we fondly call, The Aloha Spirit. No two islands are alike and each offers something uniquely special. My life has been blessed by extended visits to these islands before living on Oahu, Maui and now working closely with a retreat center in the rainforest of the Big Island. It warms the heart to share the story, tropical beauty and gentle life-style with new and returning guests. South Pacific weather remains inviting any time of year, while the ocean begs you to jump right in!
As to my story,
before coming to Hawaii, I raised my daughter in the beautiful mountains
of Colorado enjoying winter and summer outdoor activities. It was during
that time when a vacation changed my life. I discovered an amazing fascination
with dolphins in the open waters of the Bahamas. An ongoing study of
the lives of dolphins and whales carried me not only to the Caribbean,
but to southern California and Florida, British Columbia, Mexico, South
American and finally to Hawaii.
With that thought in mind, as a travel consultant, I am always fully
aware that vacations and/or retreats can ignite one's passion. Whether
we are arranging a romantic getaway, family trip or personal journey,
it is a great feeling to help someone realize a dream. Treasured places
are everywhere, and discovering life’s riches on your own terms
can be life altering.
As a grandmother of three now, I still appreciate an open water dolphin
experience, a snorkel or sunset sail to watch wintering humpback whales.
Strolls along a sandy beach or hikes into nature never get old. Any
chance to rejuvenate and to reevaluate one's priorities, if only for
a few moments, is precious. To my way of thinking, when we string enough
precious moments together, they become lasting pearls of wisdom and
enduring treasures in life's memories. It is such a joy to help others
discover those memorable destinations that enrich their lives forever.
