Rosario’s original mansion is listed on the
National Historic Register. The Moran Mansion houses our restaurant,
spa, boutique, lounge, music room, library and museum, along with
administrative and management offices, but does not feature any
of our guestrooms. Our hillside accommodations are approximately
one-half mile from the mansion.
Mansionside Rooms
With convenient access to resort facilities, the Mansionside Rooms
are all near the spa, the bay, the adult and family outdoor pools,
dining facilities, the Moran Museum, and Rosario's lounge.
Mansionside Queen
Near the Historic Moran Mansion, this comfortably furnished room
features two queen-size beds and a sliding glass door that opens
onto a balcony or patio. Overstuffed pillows and views of Rosario's
lawns and natural gardens add to the cozy, restful environment of
the room. In addition to the amenities all of our accommodations
feature, this room comes with a small refrigerator and magnifying
mirror. (Approximately 350 square feet)
Mansionside King
Located a stone's throw from our historic Moran Mansion, this room
features one king-size bed with comfortable oversized pillows and
an upholstered reading chair with a standing lamp. Opening onto
a patio or balcony with a sliding glass door, each of these rooms
boasts a terrific view of beautiful East Sound and neighboring islands.
This room also contains a magnifying mirror and small refrigerator.

Hillside Rooms
Our Hillside Rooms are located approximately one-half mile from
the beautiful and historic Moran Mansion. From the hillside, our
guests enjoy making acquaintance with friendly neighborhood deer
on winding forest paths, taking in the salt-sprayed air alongside
the marina, and listening to the cries of playful sea gulls as they
navigate beachside ocean breezes.
Hillside Queen
Nestled into the woods one-half mile from the historic Moran Mansion,
each of these hideaways features two queen-size beds and a balcony
with lovely views of evergreen trees, Cascade Bay, nearby islands,
and local wildlife. Hillside Kings and Hillside Queen rooms can
be connected to create a comfortable suite. (Approximately 275 square
feet)
Hillside King
Perched among the trees on the forested hillside, one-half mile
from the Moran Mansion, rest the most popular of our island getaway
rooms. The Hillside King includes one king-size bed, a sitting area
with a queen-size sofa bed, an upholstered side chair, a gas fireplace,
an oversized Jacuzzi tub, and a glass-enclosed shower. Often included
in the views from these woodland rooms and their balconies are evergreen
trees, Cascade Bay, the marina, the historic Moran Mansion and local
wildlife. Hillside King rooms can be connected to the adjoining
Hillside Queen rooms to create one, two, or three room suites. (Approximately
460 square feet)
Cliffhouse Honeymoon Suite
Perched on the edge of the water very near the mansion, the Honeymoon
Suite at Rosario enjoys spectacular views of the bay while maintaining
a private, intimate feel. The suite features a vaulted ceiling,
four-poster king-size bed, sofa sitting area, gas fireplace, an
extra-large jetted tub with windows overlooking the bay, a separate
glass-enclosed shower, and a private balcony with sweeping waterfront
vistas.
The Roundhouse
Designed and built by Robert Moran, this luxuriously unique waterfront
suite overlooks Cascade Bay. Formerly the Moran children's playhouse,
this is the only overnight accommodation offered in an original
Robert Moran structure. This room features a king-size sleigh bed,
separate living room with panoramic waterfront views, gas fireplace,
tiled bathroom with a double head shower, and a radiant heated floor.
This elegant accommodation is adorned with plush mahogany in classic
Pacific Northwest fashion.
ADA Accessibility
Three ADA accessible guest rooms are located near the mansion. Each
is equipped with bars in the shower and near the toilet, as well
as lowered counters and sinks. Additionally, many of our standard
rooms have level entry and can be accessed with great ease. Ramp
entry is available for the first floor of the Moran Mansion providing
access to Front Desk and Lobby areas, Mansion Dining and the Lounge.
The spa and boutique also have level entries. Access to the second
floor music room and museum is available by wide stairway with railings.
