Aloha everyone,
As the President and Founder of McCoy Custom Travel & Cruise, I have really been blessed to be involved in the travel industry and to have been working with, or have work for me, such an outstanding group of individuals. McCoy Travel’s Vacation Designers and the back office/support team. We celebrate 15 years in business October 2008. Some of my staff have been with me for 10 years and many 6-9 years. And now, with the internet and virtual phones, many of my staff live on the mainland and we are all still a big family. Because of the enthusiasm and dedication of all of us, our reputation in the travel industry is stellar. I am proud to be the owner of McCoy Travel. My staff have made me look good! Mutual respect and focusing on the ultimate goal, client satisfaction, is what has allowed us to enjoy this reputation. As a company, we have lots of fun together, enjoying many hotels here in Hawaii as an “Ohana” (family). We invite our family, spouses, kids to join us when we “site inspect” hotels (that includes hanging out at the pool too) for the weekend and this is one of the reasons we are together in our passion for travel, the company we work for (I work for me too!), and our enthusiasm for the future. The people in our industry, whether here in Hawaii, Fiji, W. Samoa and beyond, are a fun bunch of folks to be involved in. It’s fun work, it’s hard work and there is never a dull moment! Ours is one of the fastest changing industries in the world and it takes a certain type of “Vacation Consultant” to keep a smile on his/her face while dealing with so many people and so many changes. We do it and THANK YOU for working with us. We are all appreciative of the opportunity to make a living while making travel dreams come true.

Melissa McCoy

I would like to an opportunity to talk about my experience working with Melissa McCoy and McCoy Custom Travel. I will be celebrating 10 years with McCoy this March 2008; it has been a wonderful and learning experience to say the least. Working with Melissa and feeling her passion for travel, her sense of customer service, commitment to client satisfaction and honesty in the industry has been rewarding beyond words. While working for McCoy Travel I have experienced travel like I could have only imagined before I met Melissa. From multiple trips to ultra luxurious accommodations in Fiji and Hawaii, to historical European Cites to my most recent 21 day South American Cruise, it has been a dream come true. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to work for this company and look forward to many more years being part of the McCoy Travel Team.

I love working for McCoy Travel. I work with a great group of people who help & support each other--we all work together to make sure our customers have an exceptional travel experience.
