The Hotel Alfonso XIII was built for the 1929 Sevilla Expo. It has always been considered to be one of the most contemporary gems of Andalusia. The building is neo-mudejar, inspired by Arab architecture, which was so much in vogue at the beginning of the century. It was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII on occasion of Her Royal Highness Infant Isabel’s wedding with Count Juan Zamoyski. The prestige of this hotel has never decayed.
